Trusted Resource: Personal/Professional Coaching PDF Print E-mail
User Rating: / 0
For nearly four years, I have been a friend and collegue of Ron Finklestein. Ron is an author and an absolutely excellent business resource. More importantly, Ron provides incredibly effective personal & professional coaching services. If you do not have a relationship with a coach--you should. While Ron is currently MY success coach; he could also become Your Success Coach.

I have been attending Ron's unique Master Mind program for executives for nearly three years and I cannot begin to measure the benefits of sitting at a table with six or more other CEOs, discussing what works and what doesn't as well as the strategies and ideas we would like to test out. The conversational interchange--you might refer to them as Intense Conversations--is nothing short of astounding.

Check out Ron's web site: Your Business Coach.net . If you have any interest at all in becoming better at what you do--THIS should be one of your resources.

User Rating: / 3

When it comes to your job; your family; even your life, you must be present to win.  I know what you're thinking, "Is this guy nuts, or what?"  Actually, I couldn't be more serious. Think about what you are doing professionally, or in any other area of your life. Are you actively managing your career, your knowledge, your prospects--in other words, your future? Or are you sitting back and coasting like so many people tend to do?

Do you go out and aggressively search for learning opportunities and professional development programs on your own, or are you waiting for your employer to provide everything for you? So many people tend to sit back and "wait to be taught" when, instead, they should be taking active control over their own professional growth. This Knowledge Briefing is all about being there--really being present--in other words: Stepping up to the plate and maximizing your own future. If you aren't present--if you aren't actively taking responsibility for yourself--your family--your career, the world is going to zip by and you WILL miss it.

Want to be more successful?  Take control!  Get present!

Are You a Knowledge Worker? Or an Employee? PDF Print E-mail
User Rating: / 6
For years the vast majority of workers have all essentially been functioning as employees. We performed tasks on the job that pretty much anyone could do in our place. As one of the more cold-hearted bosses I once had put it: “We can replace you any time with any number of dozens of other boneheads who apply here.” Management, for the most part, did all the high level thinking and we simply did whatever we were expected to do. The model still exists, but over the past two decades, the knowledge worker has emerged more and more frequently on the scene.

Why should you care? Because knowledge workers are infinitely more employable than unskilled, (unschooled?) workers. Knowledge workers carry their tools in their heads and work wherever they stand. Others, sad to say, have virtually no edge to carry them through difficult times. Which are you & what can you do to change the pattern? Read on for more.
